What We Offer: Full-time employment with a requirement to work evening, night, and weekend hours Competitive salary complemented by excellent benefits including paid vacation and holidays A safe, secure, and fast-paced working environment Job Responsibilities: Monitor and manage access at the container gate Conduct security patrols on foot or by vehicle Operate and monitor CCTV systems and access control systems Watch for unusual or suspicious activities that may pose security concerns or safety hazards Use 2-way radios, telephones, and computers for effective communication Respond promptly to emergencies, sound alarms, or contact police or fire departments as needed Enforce property and gate entry rules, preventing unauthorized access Observe and ensure authorized removal of property adheres to required protocols Investigate and document reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities Deliver courteous and professional assistance to customers, employees, and visitors Ideal Candidate Profile: High school diploma or equivalent required Must possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Valid Driver's License with at least five years of driving experience preferred Previous security experience is a plus Ability to adapt and respond effectively to challenging situations Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts If you are committed to maintaining a secure environment and are ready to handle the responsibilities of gate security at a major marine facility, we encourage you to apply.
