Sheet Metal Fabricator//Press Brake Operator

Description Be part of our success! We are looking to add a skilled SHEET METAL FABRICATOR/PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR for both shop and field service projects to our Horner Fan and Fabrication team as we continue to grow and expand our business. The Position: Set up and operate machinery such as shear, press brake, punch press, drill press, and tapping arm. Responsibilities include: Operate fabrication and machine shop machinery and equipment (e.g. Press Brake, Metal Band Saw, Milling Machine Lathe) Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Loads press brake to achieve print specifications. Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction. Measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. Remove burrs, sharp edges or scale from work piece. Perform machine maintenance to keep equipment in good working condition. Keep a safe, clean, and organized workspace. Work in accordance with health and safety guidelines and regulations Requirements and Skills: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1+ year related experience in fabrication of stainless and/or galvanized steel Basic math and reading skills Ability to comprehend and carry out detailed written or oral instructions Basic computer skills Mechanical repair experience is a plus Welding experience a plus Physical ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs.
