JOB DESCRIPTION Data Engineer - Azure (Capital Markets) Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months Pay Rate: $64.22/hr (W2) Work Authorization: U.S. work authorization required (W2 only - No C2C, No third parties) Role Objectives Be part of the Data Strategy team supportingCapital Markets and Nikko Securities teams across theAmericas Division's broker-dealer and swap-dealer entities Contribute to the active development of a strategic data platform in close collaboration with theteam Lead and support the establishment of a reference data system for securities and pricing data, with future expansion into additional data domains Adhere to internal development standards and best practices to support the broader Data Strategy agenda Support implementation of the data platform on's Azure Cloud Platform, leveraging modern cloud-based solutions and tools Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a Data Engineer with strong exposure to Azure Cloud Hands-on experience implementing solutions using: Azure Cloud Services Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake Gen2 Azure Databases Azure Data Fabric API Gateway Management Azure Functions Strong experience with Azure Databricks Advanced SQL skills with RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases Experience developing APIs using Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks) Familiarity with DevOps lifecycle, including Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines Solid understanding of ETL / ELT processes Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus, including: Financial instruments Asset classes Market data
