Insurance Account Executive

Our client, a well-known provider of commercial, personal, and employee benefits lines of insurance, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their team. The Account Executive plays a pivotal role in managing and expanding the company's client accounts. Insurance Account Executive Job Responsibilities Overseeing a portfolio of approximately 35 accounts. Working with Account Managers to handle the administrative aspects of account servicing. Performing all client-facing account management duties, including setting pre-renewal meetings and facilitating plan reviews. Earning a 10% first-year commission on any new business referred, with an additional 10% end-of-year bonus for meeting annual sales goals. Allocating new business to the team best suited to meet the account profile and client needs. Meeting in-person with the employee benefits team every Wednesday and Thursday. Serving a local client base ranging from Bellingham to Olympia along the I-5 corridor. Qualifications 10+ years Employee Benefits Experience. At least 2 years as a Senior Account Manager or Account Executive. Experience overseeing Account Managers, delegating and splitting responsibilities. Experience with Fully & Self-Funded Accounts. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on client-facing interactions. Applicants with experience from direct writers, carriers, or TPAs are not preferred.
