Position Summary The Production Technician will perform all aspects of the nitinol sheet production process with a high level of quality, precision, and consistency. This role places strong emphasis on programming, setup, and operation of CNC Water Jet and Fanuc Wire EDM equipment. Once foundational skills are established, technicians will be cross-trained in advanced responsibilities, including material review and release to the shop floor. Key Responsibilities Read, understand, and follow written procedures and work instructions Perform routine equipment maintenance, including minor repairs and modifications Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and lab teams as needed Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, including: CNC Wire EDM CNC Water Jet Surface grinder Hot press Hot and cold rolling mills Shear and cutoff saw Belt sander Annealing oven Parts washer (Preferred) Acid etching equipment Operate multiple machines simultaneously once fully trained Perform full sheet manufacturing processes, including: Hot and cold rolling Waterjet cutting and EDM operations Shear cutting and surface grinding Cleaning, tapering, annealing, and hot press annealing Acid etching (if trained) Final cleaning, inspection, and shipping preparation Measure sheets using precision measuring equipment Accurately track material lots and complete all required documentation Self-inspect work and make adjustments to meet customer specifications Safely handle hazardous materials and waste Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience using digital calipers, micrometers, and tape measures Strong shop math skills, including: Fraction/decimal conversion Metric/imperial conversion Working with measurements up to five decimal places Understanding thousandths, hundredths, and tenths of an inch Ability to lift at least 30 lbs independently Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of CNC programming experience (G-code, 2D CAD/CAM preferred) Experience programming, setting up, and/or operating: CNC Wire EDM CNC Water Jet CNC Laser Cutters Surface Grinders 1+ year of professional experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Forklift certification (or ability to become certified) 3+ years of manufacturing experience Flexibility to work any shift Ability to oversee and assist other operators as needed Physical & Training Requirements Initial and annual hazardous waste training required (provided by Resonetics) Ability to safely handle hazardous materials Ability to lift at least 30 lbs independently Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $26.00-$28.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications Opportunities for skill development, cross-training, and career growth Stable, growing company in the medical device industry Work Authorization Resonetics is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
