Position 1: RF Technology and DOCSIS PHY SpecialistOverview:This role is focused on developing and architecting DOCSIS standards with a strong emphasis on RF (Radio Frequency) technology and DOCSIS PHY specifications. The role requires an in-depth understanding of Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) networks and Passive Optical Networks (PON).Responsibilities:- Develop and architect network solutions, focusing on RF technology and DOCSIS PHY specifications. - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements for network advancements. - Conduct research and contribute to the future architecture of Charter's network capabilities. - Optimize and design DOCSIS-based network structures and RF transmission protocols.Key Skills & Experience:- Extensive knowledge of DOCSIS standards and development processes. - Expertise in RF technology and DOCSIS PHY specifications. - Strong understanding of HFC and PON network architecture. - Experience with power level, frequency, modulation, coding, multiplexing, and contention control specifications.
