Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Jackson, TN

Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team working with client in the IDD community. The CNA will provide essential care and support to individuals in a respectful, patient-centered manner. You will assist residents or clients with daily living activities, monitor their health, and help ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities: • Provide hands-on care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding • Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment • Monitor and report changes in residents' or clients' physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff • Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided • Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for all individuals • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members • Follow established policies, procedures, and care plans • Participate in training, in-service education, and staff meetings as required Qualifications: • Current CNA certification in Tennessee • High school diploma or equivalent • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required based on your organization) • Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weight • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented • Experience in [home health care/long-term care/facility-based care - customize as needed] is a plus Must have a valid driver's license and dependable vehicle IDD Experience PreferredBenefits: • Competitive pay • Flexible scheduling • Paid training and continuing education opportunities • Health, dental, and vision insurance (if applicable) • Supportive team environment
