Job DescriptionPosition: Perm - Child and Family Therapist (LMSW) - Outpatient / Pediatrics (Days) Location: Lincoln Park, MIOverview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child and Family Therapist with a Master's in Social Work (LMSW) to join our outpatient pediatrics team in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Key Responsibilities: Provide evidence-based family therapy following the Treatment Foster Care Oregon (TFCO) model, focusing on behavioral and family interventions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate behavioral therapies targeting school behavior and family dynamics. Facilitate weekly therapy sessions with children and their families, utilizing strategic positive reinforcement and coaching to foster behavioral change. Engage and collaborate with primary caregivers, educators, and community agencies to promote holistic support and sustained progress. Coordinate care with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Advocate for families' needs by connecting them with community resources, supporting scheduling of evaluations or medication reviews, and developing support networks. Monitor and eliminate barriers to service access and participation by collaborating with service providers and community organizations. Maintain flexibility in work hours and participate in an on-call rotation to provide crisis intervention and support as needed, including evenings and weekends. Document clinical progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with agency policies. Attend supervision meetings, team consultations, and professional development trainings. Perform additional duties as assigned to support client needs and organizational goals. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work (LMSW required). Valid State of Michigan LMSW license. Prior experience in outpatient pediatrics, family therapy, or similar settings preferred. Knowledge of TFCO or similar therapeutic models is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and case management skills. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including non-traditional schedules, to meet client needs.
