DescriptionTurning Point Community Programs is seeking a Shift Leader for our Crisis Residential Porgram (CRP) program in Rio Linda. GENERAL PURPOSE Under the administrative supervision of the Program Director or designee, this position is responsible for oversight of swing shift operations and scheduling. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS This is an at-will leadership position within a program. Additionally, this position is responsible for the day-to-day scheduling of assigned staff who perform the established duties of the program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - (ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY) The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that could be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to this class In the absence of the Assistant Program Director, provides leadership and direction for clients/staff as assigned. Reviews and tracks staff documentation. Secures coverage for absent staff members. Assists Assistant Program Director by providing input in preparation of staff performance evaluations. Serves as the main point of contact for the shift and assists with the staff training process. Meets with program leadership weekly to provide updates. Assists in interviewing and decision making when hiring staff. Reviews and updates all shift logs, identifies and drafts incident reports when needed. Ensures that medication practices meet program and licensing standards on the shift, coordinates with pharmacy and nursing staff when needed. Carries a small caseload and provides case management services as required. Provides after hours 'on-call' support on a rotational basis in conjunction with the leadership team. Interacts productively within the team in order to provide holistic services to an identified group of clients. Provides "on-the-spot" counseling that is both helpful to the clients and consistent with the philosophy of the program. Attends to the safety, health, and well-being of clients/staff. Completes paperwork as assigned in a timely manner. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Compensation: $21.00 - $22.29 per hour plus a $1,000 sign on bonus Interested? Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements: California driver's license & current vehicle insurance/registration Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport inclusive of bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles.
