Description Join an established and innovative company in the fast-growing solar industry and enjoy strong pay rate + advancement opportunities!      We offer an extensive benefits package which includes:   Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Care Insurance $50k Life Insurance 401K Medical Reimbursement Accounts (HSA & FSA) Employee Assistance Program Paid Time-Off Bi-weekly bonuses Pay range $24 to $28/hr.                                                                    Residential Solar    POSITION SUMMARY:       The Electrical Apprentice will work under the direction of an Electrician performing installations, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems.       ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:       Assist with safely planning and completing Main Panel Upgrades (MPU)   Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting system components to resolve electrical        issues   Ensure work performed is of good craftsmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes   Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting system components to resolve electrical issues   Ensure work performed is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes   Determine when additional material is required to complete job   Document project by taking photos and completing work orders   Maintain Company vehicle stocked with proper tools and equipment   Maintains adherence to Company policies, environmental health and safety policies and good housekeeping practices    Identifies gaps in safety standards as well as safety risks in the environment and provides recommendations to higher level technical staff and management   Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ and Utility requirements   Ensure job sites are left clean   Perform other duties as assigned       QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:       Education & Certifications:   Must possess or obtain an Apprentice License within state of employment if applicable   Minimum 2 years of electrical installation and repair experience preferred   High School Graduate or GED     Experience:   Must have working knowledge and experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels       Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:       Ability to effectively manage work to achieve required timelines   Must be experienced with all required hand and power tools associated with the electrical trade   Ability to read and interpret single line drawings   Must maintain a clean driving record and valid state driver's license       Special Skills & Training:   Working knowledge of current NEC codes       PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES       Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls   Stand for long periods of time   Walk or run for long periods of time   Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles   Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl   Bend, stretch, twist, or reach out   Repeat the same movements   See details of objects that are less than a few feet away   Determine the distance between objects   Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects   Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls   Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm   Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects   Understand the speech of another person   Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects   See differences between colors, shades, and brightness   Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place   Use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods without getting tired   React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet   While looking forward, see objects or movements that are off to the side   Lift 50+ pounds   High Priority   TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (Employee is required to travel for business purposes, not including commute to and from work.) If required to travel, must have a valid Driver's License/Insurance and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.     Freedom Forever is an equal opportunity employer.
