The Job Details:· Professionally and courteously communicate with drivers and team members.· Responsible for providing assistance to the Shipping/Receiving Clerks during driver check-in and check-out procedures using a radio or other forms of communication.· Check in and out all drivers, services providers, contractors, or visitors that are on the property and direct them to their appropriate area.· Ensure all paperwork is accurate and completed in full.· Place driver’s identification information and/or seal numbers in the system.· Report the condition of the trailers at the time of arrival and departure.· Accurately report the temperature of all trailers.· Verify seal numbers on trailers entering and leaving the facility.· Follow company policies, guidelines, and work instructions.· Perform check-in and check-out procedures in all weather conditions, taking appropriate safety precautions as needed.· Ensure the yard management program is accurately updated if needed.The Job Specifics:· Location, Department and Work Hours: Warehouse Hours Vary· Reports To: Superintendent· Travel Amount: May Vary· Job Type, EEO, and Job Code: Full-Time, non-exemptWhat We Are Looking For:Education · Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalentExperience· 1-3 years of work experience (preferred) Other Abilities You Will Need to Have: The requirements described below are representative of those required to perform the essential duties of this position.
