Job Title: Lube Technician/Certified Lube Technician  Reports To: Shop Manager  Company: Quick Lube of Carolina LLC / Take 5 Oil Change Position Overview The Lube Technician role at Quick Lube of Carolina LLC / Take 5 Oil Change is an entry-level position designed to familiarize new team members with our service standards, procedures, and customer-focused philosophy. This position serves as the foundation for advancement, with certification as a Certified Technician expected within 45 days of hire. In this role, you will learn and assist with our Full-Service Oil Change process, perform routine vehicle maintenance, and deliver fast, friendly, and professional service to every customer. Key Responsibilities Learn and adhere to standard operating procedures for oil changes and related services Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow Provide an exceptional and professional customer experience Complete required Rally Point training modules to achieve Certified Technician status Certification Path: As a Certified Technician, you will: Demonstrate proficiency in all positions involved in the Full-Service oil change Uphold standards of integrity, efficiency, and transparency Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service Support team performance and mentor new technicians Qualifications/ Physical Requirements No prior automotive experience required; full training provided Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn Dependable attendance and punctuality Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment Must be able to stand for extended periods Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot deep pit safely Physical capability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform manual tasks for extended periods Willingness to work in varying weather conditions Alertness and situational awareness in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Reliable transportation Quick Lube of Carolina LLC / Take 5 Oil Change is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a culture of integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
