Speech Language Pathologist

About the Job Want to join a supportive, passionate, and professional team?Job Description:The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be performing therapies, recording the notes of each visit, and following up with their patients; The SLP will be empowered to build their schedule with a Supervisor and maintain it consistently; The SLP will be given the tools (software/program, i.e., ClinicSource) to facilitate the secretarial needs of their schedules (i.e., confirming appointments), and will be expected to have computer and smartphone literacy for this reason; Traveling will be expected, as we also offer services not only at our offices but at the daycare centers and schools in the surrounding areas; The SLP will meet with their Supervisor at least once a month and work on therapy strategies. Education/Certificates:B.S. in Communications Disorders, or a similar degree; License from the State of Florida. Skills:English speaking; Bilingual (Spanish); Computer literacy; Smartphone literacy. Required Work Experience:At least 1 year working with children. Responsibilities:Employ therapy proficiently; Maintain a consistent roster of patients; Organize your own schedule; Use the software and programs provided; Work with parents/guardians of the patient.
