Our employee relationship managers support you throughout your engagement, providing career guidance and reemployment assistance.We are currently seeking a qualified Payroll Specialist to join the team in a remote role, based in the EST or CST time zones . This role is responsible for payroll processing and providing support for audits, compliance, and reports.Duties and Responsibilities : Process payroll for hourly and salary employees, including calculating salary, deductions, bonuses, and benefits Maintain accurate payroll records, including attendance, leaves, and compensation changes Coordinate with HR, finance, and other departments to gather payroll data, such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary changes Review and verify payroll inputs, including timesheets, bonuses, commissions, taxes, and deductions, to ensure accuracy and compliance with local tax laws and regulations Verify tax and wage orders payments processed through third-party provider Audit the hours imported from time and attendance system and prepare adjustments for time adjustments for payroll processing Audit payroll inputs and complete variance audit for payroll approvals prior to payroll completion Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll and deductions issues professionally and promptly Generate payroll reports for management, audits, and statutory filings Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary process changes Assist in payroll audits, compliance checks, reports, and system upgrades Maintain payroll records, documentation, and confidentiality of employee information in compliance with data protection laws and company policies Skills and Qualifications : Minimum 8+ years of experience in payroll processing, global payroll processing is a plus Proficient in payroll and HCM software and systems, Workday preferred Solid understanding of Federal and state payroll laws, tax laws, and compliance regulations Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work with large volumes of data accurately Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Strong Excel skills Wage Range :The rate for this position is between $22.80 - $30.40 per hour.
