Job Full Description Utility Technician - Full-Time | $17-$20/hrThe Location: Donora, PA Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm No Travel Required Express Employment Professionals is now hiring Utility Technicians for a direct hire opportunity in Donora, PA. This is a great role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team. Position Overview As a Utility Tech, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining the hydraulic and/or mechanical press equipment, industrial saws, and other fabrication machinery as needed. Select the proper template and materials for the work order. Assist the department foreman in meeting production targets. Assist in other departments when downtime occurs. Maintain quality standards. Keep work area clean and orderly. Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment. Maintain a healthy and safe working environment. Position Details Candidates must be able to read a tape measure quickly and accurately in order to keep scrap at a minimum. Have exceptional attention to detail. Strong focus on safety and quality; team player mentality a must. Have ability to apply computer software skills, ability to learn applications quickly. Have good working knowledge of figures and numbers. Be able to work quickly and efficiently.
