Role: Product Owner - MDMLocation: Tempe, AZ (Onsite) Experience: 8-10 Years Employment Type: Contract Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Product Owner (MDM) with a strong background in Data Analysis, Data Warehousing, and Analytics. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven leader with a proven record of managing complex data initiatives, defining business requirements, and driving analytical excellence in an Agile environment. Prior experience with customer or marketing data within the Banking domain is mandatory. Key Responsibilities: Act as the Product Owner for Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives, driving product strategy and backlog prioritization. Lead data analysis, profiling, and integration efforts across multiple systems and domains. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements, document business processes, and ensure alignment with enterprise goals. Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for MDM projects, ensuring quality, governance, and compliance with enterprise data standards. Perform advanced data analysis using PL/SQL, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Guide Agile teams through sprint planning, backlog grooming, and story development. Develop functional and technical documentation for data processes, workflows, and business rules. Drive data governance initiatives, ensuring consistent and standardized master data across platforms. Communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and executives to ensure clarity of vision and delivery alignment. Required Qualifications: 15+ years of overall experience, with at least 8-10 years as a Product Owner / Senior Data Analyst. Strong expertise in Data Analysis, Data Warehousing, and Data Governance. Proven experience in Banking or Financial Services domain, specifically with customer or marketing data on MDM platforms. Hands-on proficiency in PL/SQL and data profiling techniques. Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Experience with data modeling, data visualization, APIs, and real-time services. Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead cross-functional workstreams and drive execution independently.
