Field Service Technician - Contract to Hire

Candidate must be located within a 50 miles radius of 95624. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and entry level - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Requirements: Is this position remote or in person? Remote (working cases from home) Primary day-to-day responsibilities: Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA's). Technician will travel to each client's location. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktops, Laptops, Servers, and Printers. Works under general supervision. Local travel required for daily dispatch. Driver's License and reliable vehicle required. Must pass Drug Test & Background Check. TOP 2 required skills: Must have good admin and organizational skills. Must have basic knowledge of printers, laptops, desktops, servers, and networks. On call: Yes Experience: Preferably 2 but not necessary Certifications or education: A+ certification required within 6 months of hire.
