IntePros is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Specialist to join our global biopharmaceutical client and manage moderately complex employee relations matters in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant employee relations practices by conducting investigations, advising leaders, and partnering closely with HR and Legal. The ideal candidate brings deep ER expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to influence and coach leaders through sensitive situations. Key Responsibilities: Lead confidential investigations related to employee misconduct, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy violations. Manage Compliance Hotline / Speak Up cases from intake through resolution, ensuring thorough documentation and timely closure. Support involuntary terminations by preparing documentation, drafting correspondence, and participating in meetings. Advise and coach leaders on employee relations best practices, fair treatment, and risk mitigation. Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Legal to ensure alignment with employment laws, company policies, and risk tolerance. Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements. Support unionized environments by managing grievances and participating in arbitration processes. Build trusted relationships with employees, union representatives, and Works Councils. Manage the end-to-end medical accommodation process in collaboration with HR, Legal, and medical experts. Facilitate interactive discussions to evaluate accommodation requests while balancing employee needs and business requirements. Document accommodation decisions and outcomes in designated systems in accordance with policy and legal standards. Educate and guide leaders on corrective action processes and development of SMART performance objectives. Advise on performance concerns and support the creation and execution of performance improvement plans. Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance. Maintain accurate and compliant records related to employee actions and outcomes. Partner with Learning and HR teams to develop and deliver employee relations and people-leader training. Contribute to the design and rollout of ER programs, tools, and initiatives. Lead or contribute to cross-functional HR and ER projects as needed. Maintain detailed and accurate case management documentation for reporting and compliance purposes. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field. 5-7 years of progressive HR experience with a strong emphasis on employee relations and investigations. Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements. Experience with HRIS and case management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle highly confidential information. Strong relationship-building and influencing skills. Must be local to Holly Springs, NC and able to work onsite four days per week. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting unionized environments and labor relations matters. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification. Bilingual in English and Spanish (strongly preferred). Experience supporting multiple locations within a global, matrixed organization. #LI-JW1
