This role requires a consultative sales professional who understands the MSP business model, can translate technical solutions into business outcomes, and is comfortable selling recurring revenue services.The ideal candidate has experience selling Managed Services, understands common MSP tools and frameworks, and excels at building long-term client relationships while consistently achieving sales targets.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue GenerationIdentify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities for managed IT servicesSell recurring revenue services including:Managed IT ServicesCybersecurity solutionsCloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, backupsNetwork and infrastructure managementCompliance and risk management solutionsManage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through closeConsistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targetsBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospectsConsultative SellingConduct discovery calls to understand client business needs, pain points, and IT challengesTranslate technical services into clear business value and ROICollaborate with technical teams to scope solutions and develop proposalsPresent service offerings and proposals to decision-makers (C-level, IT leaders, business owners)Position the company as a trusted advisor rather than a commodity providerAccount Management & Relationship BuildingDevelop long-term relationships with prospects and clientsIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accountsEnsure smooth handoff to onboarding and service delivery teamsMaintain high customer satisfaction throughout the sales processSales Process & CRM ManagementMaintain accurate records in CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, ConnectWise Sell)Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and forecastsFollow defined sales processes and best practicesParticipate in sales meetings, training, and performance reviewsMarket AwarenessStay current on MSP industry trends, cybersecurity threats, and technology advancementsUnderstand competitive offerings and effectively differentiate servicesProvide feedback to leadership on market conditions and customer needsRequired Qualifications3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in Managed Services or IT solutionsProven success selling recurring revenue servicesStrong understanding of:Managed IT services and MSP delivery modelsCybersecurity fundamentalsCloud and Microsoft 365 environmentsExperience with consultative or solution-based sellingAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesStrong negotiation and closing skillsProficiency with CRM and sales toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience working for an MSP or IT services companyFamiliarity with MSP tools and platforms (e.g., Halo, Datto, Kaseya, Pax8)Experience selling to SMB or mid-market clientsKnowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, etc.)Formal sales training (Sandler, MEDDICC, Challenger, etc.)Key CompetenciesConsultative mindsetStrong business acumenSelf-motivated and results-drivenExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyComfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreachResilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentSuccess MetricsMonthly and quarterly recurring revenue (MRR) closedPipeline growth and conversion ratesAverage deal size and sales cycle lengthCustomer retention and expansion opportunitiesCRM accuracy and sales activity metricsFlexible work from home options available.
