Cornhusker International Trucks, Inc. is hiring a full-time Heavy Duty Truck Body Shop Technician to join our team!!!If you have experience in truck or automotive body repair and are skilled with welding equipment, paint equipment, shop tools, this is an opportunity to grow in your career with a stable, family-owned company. Schedule Monday through Friday7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pay $25.00 - $30.00 per hourBased on experience Benefits Competitive hourly rateOpportunities for career advancementFamily-owned, team-oriented cultureBoot and safety eyeglass allowanceMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(K) retirement planVacation, sick, and holiday pay Key Responsibilities Review repair orders and estimates to identify required parts and scope of workPerform sheet metal, fiberglass, and panel repairsComplete fabrication and structural welding, including aluminum weldingInstall and align truck cab body componentsPerform electrical and mechanical body-related repairsTear down equipment to inspect for hidden or additional damageCommunicate supplemental repair needs to estimators and supervisorsFollow warranty guidelines and manufacturer repair standardsRemove and install decals as neededReplace radiators, CAC units, condensers, and other componentsInspect, repair, and maintain trailer structural and suspension systems Road test vehicles to ensure safe operationMaintain accurate repair and maintenance recordsLead or mentor apprentice technicians when applicable Skills and Experience Minimum of 5 years of truck or automotive body shop experienceExperience with fiberglass repair, panel straightening, and fillingReview repair orders and estimates to identify required parts and scope of workStructural welding experience preferred; willing and oxy-acetylene cutting proceduresProficient with hand, air, and power tools used in body repairBasic computer skills for documentationStrong attention to detail and ability to meet repair timelines Effective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well in a team environment Preferred Certifications ASE Certifications in Damage Analysis and EstimatingMechanical and Electrical Components certificationNon-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair certification State Vehicle Inspector certificationEquivalent experience and commitment to continued training considered Requirements Valid driver's license with clean driving recordHigh School diploma or GED Ability to pass a background check Cornhusker International Trucks, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer!Job Type: Full-timeApply today to join a professional service team that values craftsmanship, safety, and long-term career growth.
