Armature Works Porter

Armature Works is looking for Porter to assist with keeping our restaurant location in a safe, clean and orderly condition. Note that this role requires working in shifts and, occasionally, during evenings or weekends.Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Sweep, scrub, mop floorsDust furniture and fittingsEmpty and clean trash containersDispose of trash in a sanitary mannerClean and stock restroomsWipe down glass surfacesWash windows as scheduledOperate mechanized cleaning equipmentMaintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working conditionMonitor and report necessary repairs and replacementsOther duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Courteous and pleasant to all guestsAbility to work as a team with fellow porters and other staffAbility to follow direction from supervisors/managersPrevious job references are requiredAvailability to work nights, weekend and/or holidays may be required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous experience in the porter or janitorial field is a plus, but not required Physical Requirements: Remain standing for extended periods of time.Bending, squatting and lifting up to 20 lbs. for short distances.Ability to work with varying noise levels.
