CDL Heavy Haul Transport Driver

Company Driver/CDL Are you a multi-talented driver with Dump Truck, End Dump and Lowboy experience?Valleywide Dig and Haul is a growing civil construction contractor with opportunity to spare.Work in a fast paced, challenging environment where you'll be an integral part of the team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving, transporting materials and heavy equipment to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner. Mechanical ability/experience is a plus. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, load management, and adherence to safety regulations and company protocols.ResponsibilitiesOperate trucks to transport materials & equipment safely & efficientlyEnsure proper loading and unloading of materials, and equipmentConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working conditionMaintain accurate records of deliveries, including time logs and material quantitiesCommunicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delaysFollow all traffic laws and company policies while driving on public roadsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipmentSkillsProven experience in a similar role within the construction / transportation industryFamiliarity with various types of trucks / trailers, including dump truck, end dump, lowboy is REQUIREDExperience with manual transmissions is required, 10 speed and 13 speedStrong knowledge of route driving and freight logisticsLoad / unload materials / equipment efficiently while meeting safety standardsExcellent communication skills for effective interaction with team membersStrong attention to detail with an emphasis on safety practicesAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamMechanical experience is preferredMust have experience with manual transmissionIf you are a motivated individual, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!Job Type: Full-timePay: From $27.50 per hour, DOEExpected hours: 40 hours per weekBenefits:Paid sick timePaid HolidayTrucking Driver Type:Company driverTrucking Route:LocalWork Days:WeekdaysExperience:Manual transmission: 3 years (Required)Dump truck: 2 years (Required)End dump: 2 years (Required)Lowboy: 2 years (Required)Mechanical: 1 year (Preferred)CDL Driving: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:CDL A (Required)Work Location: In person
