Role: QA Engineer-Cloud, SQL Location: Seattle WA USA or Vancouver BC Canada/Remote Duration: Fulltime Job Description: Must Have skills: ETL, SQL, (AWS or Azure or GCP), JMeter, Selenium, Databricks, (Python or PySpark) We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of QA Engineer, who will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts in a big data environment. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience: Must-Have: 1. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for testing within cloud-based data ecosystems. 2. Strong SQL skills to perform data validation and verification during testing. 3. Expertise in JMeter, Selenium & Power BI for visualizing and analyzing data, aiding in the identification of data quality issues and anomalies. Nice-to-Have: 1. Proficiency in Python and PySpark for developing and executing automated test scripts in a big data environment, along with experience in performance testing. 2. Hands-on experience with Databricks for data processing and testing. 3. Good to have experience in Machine Learning, Data Pipelines testing (ADF), and security testing.
