Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Status: Part Time 7.5 hr Shift: EVENING SHIFT Department: LAB-Outreach Position Summary Summary:The Laboratory Outreach Accessioner is responsible for assuring that all specimens arriving in the Laboratory from off-site facilities are properly identified, registered in the Hospital registration system and requisitioned properly in the Laboratory LIS system. Qualifications Responsibilities:Education Required • Must complete in-house orientation program • High School Diploma or equivalent Experience And Skills • Speaks, reads and writes English • Knowledge of Keyboard and Computer Skills License/Certifications Working Conditions Other information:Working Conditions • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn • May sit for prolonged periods of time • May be using keyboard/computer screen for prolonged periods of time • May be exposed to biohazardous materials
