Production Operator Finishing (2nd Shift)Location: Roseville, MNJob Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-HirePay: $18 - $19 per hourSchedule: Monday Thursday, 3: 00 PM 1: 30 AMPosition OverviewA precision printing and packaging manufacturer in Roseville is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join the Finishing Department. This role involves converting, inspecting, and preparing high-quality printed and labeling products for shipment, ensuring each product meets strict quality and customer standards.This is a great opportunity for someone looking for long-term, stable employment in a clean, well-organized, and safety-focused production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & QualityConvert, inspect, and/or package high-quality printed products using work instructions, CAD drawings (if applicable), and measuring devices.Operate finishing workstations efficiently and effectively.Follow all work instructions and quality procedures accurately.Inspect finished work for accuracy, consistency, and conformance to customer specifications.Use production software systems to record throughput, material usage, labor time, and quality issues.Maintain production throughput and meet established performance targets.Adhere to quality-at-the-source and lean manufacturing principles to ensure efficient workflow.Equipment & MaintenancePerform routine maintenance on finishing equipment according to work instructions.Complete required documentation related to equipment use and maintenance.Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas.Communication & TeamworkCommunicate effectively with coworkers, leads, and supervisors about production flow, equipment issues, or quality concerns.Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals.Remain current on training for equipment, processes, and safety standards.Safety & ComplianceFollow all safety policies, especially related to lifting, protective gear, and machine operation.Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (hairnet, gown, etc.).Comply with attendance, work-hour, and company conduct policies.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Basic computer and math skills.Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to read CAD drawings (preferred).Good communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.Familiarity with production measurement tools such as calipers, SPC devices, and eyepieces.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (lifts and equipment provided).Flexibility to work overtime or adjust hours as production needs require.Self-directed, motivated, and dependable works well individually and as part of a team.Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and quality at the source principles is a plus.Why This RoleTemp-to-hire opportunity with long-term stability.Clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled production environment.Consistent weekday schedule no weekends.Competitive pay and overtime opportunities.Opportunity to grow in a reputable printing and packaging organization focused on quality, safety, and teamwork.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
