This position is perfect for stay-at-home parents, educators on leave, college or graduate students pursuing an education degree, or substitute teaching staff seeking hands-on experience.Position: STEM Educator (Per Diem)United Skates of America, with over 50 years of experience in recreation and entertainment facility management, We are eager to welcome enthusiastic candidates to our team at United Skates Lincoln Park located at 1419 Southfield Rd, Lincoln Park . Our beautiful roller-skating facility features roller and in-line skating, a large arcade, a novelty redemption shop, a pizza café, and the best birthday parties in town!As a STEM Educator, you will:Develop, refine, and present STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) lesson plans for students from kindergarten to high school.Conduct groundbreaking, copyrighted STEM educational programs for groups ranging from 50 to 250 students, utilizing state-of-the-art audio and video technology.The ideal candidate will possess:An outgoing and animated personalityA passion for education and STEM topicsAn engaging stage presenceCreativity and a strong ability to improviseExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPointA knack for relating STEM concepts to everyday lifeExperience in the STEM fields (a plus)Availability Monday to Friday during school hours (specific days and times will vary based on bookings)Reliable transportationThis is a fantastic opportunity to help us combine education with physical fitness and fun!
