Social Media Manager

OverviewWe are looking for a social media manager or boutique agency to manage and grow three regional Instagram accounts representing our Pilates/fitness studios across the North Bay, East Bay, and the Peninsula.This role is ideal for someone who understands local marketing, community-driven brands, and fitness/wellness content, and can balance brand consistency with local personality.Scope of WorkPlatforms• Instagram & TIK TOK (3 separate accounts per platform)• Optional: light support with cross-posting to Stories or Reels scheduling toolsContent & Posting• 3–5 feed posts per account per week• 3–5 Stories per account per week• Reels encouraged (repurposed from studio content is fine)• Captions, hashtags, geotags, and light CTAs includedCommunity Engagement• Respond to comments and DMs (during business hours)• Engage with local businesses, partners, and influencers• Support studio promotions, challenges, and eventsBrand & Strategy• Maintain a consistent brand voice across regions• Customize content to feel local (neighborhoods, studios, instructors)• Monthly content planning + approval workflow• Coordinate with studio leadership on promos, launches, and campaignsAnalytics & Reporting• Monthly performance summary per region:• Follower growth• Engagement rate• Top-performing content• Recommendations for improvementWhat We’re Looking For✅ Experience managing multi-location or franchise-style brands✅ Strong Instagram and TIK TOK skills (especially Reels + Stories)✅ Understanding of fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands✅ Ability to balance local flavor with brand standards✅ Organized, proactive, and responsive✅ Comfortable working with provided assets (studio photos/videos)Nice to Have• Bay Area or California market familiarity• Influencer outreach experience• Paid social experience (optional, not required)Deliverables Summary• Content calendar (monthly)• Posting + engagement for 3 accounts• Monthly analytics report• Clear communication + responsivenessCompensation• Open to monthly retainer for agency• Please include:• Your pricing• What’s included• Examples of Instagram accounts you currently or previously managed• Any relevant case studiesHow to ApplyPlease send: A short intro about you or your agency Links to Instagram accounts you manage Your proposed monthly rate Why you’re a good fit for a local, community-driven fitness brand Optional Add-Ons (Future)• Influencer coordination• Paid Instagram ads• Launch or challenge campaigns• Regional growth experiments
