We strive to continuously learn, explore, experiment, and achieve results.The ideal teammate would be able to: Regularly sit on a powered industrial truckOften lift up to 50 poundsAdjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of timeHave a good sense of balanceHave good eye-hand-foot coordinationAbility to assess weights and judge distances and heightsAbility to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season This position will be required to work out of our New Castle, DE warehouse; this is not a remote role. In this role as Equipment Operator, you will: Load and unload goods from containers and/or trailers.Verify load against shipping paperworkMove goods packed on pallets around the warehouse facilityStacking goods in the correct storage bins, using RF scanningEnsure loads are secureStack empty palletsPerform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipmentExamine external packaging to verify qualityWork long periods including evenings and weekends when necessaryPerform other related duties as assigned Job qualification requirements for this role: High School diploma or equivalentGood math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be requiredHigh degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environmentFollow instructions for operating equipment and keeping recordsExecute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe mannerMaintain a clean & safe environmentMay be required to use RF scanner gunMust be able to pass a forklift training course per OSHA standards
