Graphics Production Manager

Job description About the Role Alliance Exposition is bringing its design and graphic capabilities in-house and is seeking a Graphics Production Manager to lead this initiative for one of the production hubs. Based out of our Orlando Flagship location, this is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the local production powerhouse while serving as a strategic architect for our national graphics production network. As the leader of a primary production hub, in collaboration with the other two primary production hubs in Las Vegas and Chicago, you will establish the "Alliance Standard" for quality and workflow, helping to guide and influence 9 total production centers (3 hubs and 6 satellites) nationwide to ensure seamless collaboration and shared learning across the organization. Key Responsibilities Flagship Production & Orlando Leadership • Direct Production Oversight: Manage end-to-end large-format UV print production and precision cutting out of the Orlando warehouse. • Technical Execution: Manage/Lead the hands-on operation of equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and output quality. • Inventory & Logistics: Oversee graphic substrate inventory (foamcore, ultraboard, sintra, etc.) and coordinate print schedules with the local warehouse and operations teams. • Quality Control: Ensure all Orlando-produced materials meet the "Alliance Standard" for show-site installation and brand consistency. Tri-Hub Strategic Collaboration • The Power Triangle: Partner closely with Production Leads in Las Vegas and Chicago to harmonize workflows, ensuring a consistent client experience regardless of the event location. • Network Synergy: Serve as a primary mentor for the 9 total production centers, (3 hubs and 6 satellites) facilitating the exchange of key learnings, troubleshooting, and best practices. • Resource Balancing: Coordinate with the national network to load-balance production during peak seasons, ensuring no single hub is overwhelmed as well as network and hire seasonal staff as needed during peak the season of September through November. Workflow & System Management • Department Build: Lead the local launch of Alliance's in-house capabilities, hiring and onboarding skilled production staff. • Salesforce Integration: Oversee incoming requests via Salesforce (or similar), managing daily priorities and production timelines. • Digital Asset Management: Manage proofing as needed, revisions, and client communication via BOX, maintaining a seamless digital-to-print pipeline. Technical Environment • Printers: Mimaki JFX200-2531EX UV LED Flatbed • Cutters: Summa 1625-41 • Software Stack: Onyx Thrive (RIP) & Summa GoProduce Pro Pack Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in tradeshow, exhibit, or experiential production. • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively with peers in Las Vegas and Chicago to lead a unified national strategy. • Process Architect: Proven ability to build workflows from the ground up and adapt to the high-pressure deadlines of the live events industry. Preferred Qualifications • Experience transitioning outsourced graphics to an in-house model. • Familiarity with computerized automation of operational processes and production workflows. • Strong organizational skills with a focus on "Flagship" or "Start-Up" level . excellence. Bonus Qualifications • Proven Technical Leadership: Expert-level experience operating and troubleshooting Mimaki JFX series printers and Summa cutting systems. • Software Proficiency: Mastery of Onyx Thrive and Summa GoProduce for nesting, tiling, and efficient material usage.
