Inpatient Pharmacist - Critical Care (7 On / 7 Off)Location: Roseville, CA (Hospital Setting)Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days offShift: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM, Sunday-SaturdayContract Length: 13 weeks to startStart Date: March 16, 2026Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to support a high-acuity critical care department within a major Northern California health system. This role is ideal for pharmacists with strong acute care backgrounds who thrive in fast-paced clinical environments and enjoy a block schedule.You will work a 7-on/7-off evening shift, providing essential clinical and operational pharmacy services to critical care units.Key Responsibilities Verify and process medication orders for critical care and acute inpatient units Provide clinical support including dosing adjustments, pharmacokinetics, and therapeutic monitoring Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams Support sterile compounding and IV preparation as needed Ensure safe and accurate medication distribution during evening/overnight hours Required Qualifications Active CA Pharmacist License (RPh) Inpatient hospital experience (acute care required) Experience in critical care strongly preferred BLS certification Ability to work every other weekend Comfortable working independently during evening hours Why This Role Stands Out Predictable 7-on/7-off schedule Opportunity to work in a high-acuity critical care environment Competitive hourly rate Stable 13-week contract with potential for extension Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Roseville, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
