divh2CDL Recycle Driver/h2pLeMay, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a CDL Recycle Driver to join the team in Aberdeen, WA!/ppMonday through Friday, 5:30 am- 2 pm/ppStarting pay is $30.60 per hour with regular wage increases. Join us and be a part of a winning team!/ph3Duties and Responsibilities:/h3ulliAbility to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste./liliAbility to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher./liliPerform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires./liliAbility to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers./liliCourteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned./li/ulh3Working Conditions and Physical Effort:/h3ulliExtensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds./liliWork environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions./liliThe employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate./li/ulh3Minimum Job Requirements:/h3ulliValid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement as a minimum./liliClean driving record./liliAbility to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
