Job Description

Position: Packaging Team Lead V-5 Location: Vineland, NJ Reports To: Production Supervisor Shift: 3 Nights /12 hrs; Nights (Mon-Wed & Thu-Sat)Job Summary The Packaging Team Lead ensures the proper functioning of bread packaging lines in accordance with quality objectives and established output standards. This role is responsible for maintaining product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Ensure all Critical Control Points (CCPs) are controlled according to required procedures Set up equipment prior to line start-up Coordinate line start-ups and changes in product varieties Adjust equipment to avoid stoppages and minimize product loss Report deviations from standard procedures to the supervisor immediately Ensure continuity of production with a focus on efficiency, loss reduction, product quality, and safety Implement lockout procedures during line stoppages Manage the supply of raw materials, components, and supplies Calculate required crates and complete daily production reports Ensure appropriate staffing for line start-up and production Support supervisor in training new employees to perform tasks effectively Report operational or mechanical issues to the supervisor and maintenance team Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas Perform other duties as assigned related to the role Technical Skills Basic knowledge of Excel and Minitab Basic bakery knowledge Understanding and adherence to safety, health, environmental, and company rules Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and BRC standards General Requirements Ability to read and write English Ability to move/transport loads up to 35 lbs Perform repetitive physical tasks with precision Work in noisy, cold, or flour-filled environments QualificationsEducation High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Experience 2-5 years of factory experience Bridor believes in rewarding great work with strong benefits and long-term stability: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance Life Insurance Paid Vacation Time 11 Paid Holidays per Year Paid Sick Time Annual Production Bonus 401(k) with 6% Company Match Ready to Make an Impact?
