Title: Continuous Improvement Manager Department: Manufacturing Reports To: Director of Operations Location: Williamsport, MD Classification: Exempt, Full-Time Annual Salary: $100,000-140,000 DOE Position Summary The continuous improvement manager will facilitate continuous incremental process improvement plans across their site to ensure ongoing organized procedures, work, and reporting to make them as efficient as possible. The position is intended to mentor accountability into the organization at the right level and to facilitate action on opportunities. Essential Job Functions Analyze and understand current processes in the plant in relation to, but not limited to, planning, buying, scheduling, operator interfaces, labor planning, build planning, plant floor reporting, inventory management, and warehouse management. Ensure best practices are shared across sites and consistent with the Caldwell quality management system Identify opportunities in procedures, scope of works, responsibilities, interactions, relationships, etc. Work with site Staff on opportunities, project definition, participation, and cross-functional alignment. Facilitate teams on projects to understand root causes and develop the list of actions for improvement Follow up on confirmation of actions taken, and results attainment - immediately and over time Provide communication thru report outs to site teams as well as across sites and to corporate leaders Escalate as necessary Participate in the planning and execution of new ERP system, IFS. Assist in operator training and understanding during and after go-live. Attend Daily Production Meeting on Plant Floor and on Zoom call Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong ERP background. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to lead and be independent. Scheduling, Planning, CI, and Operations Acumen.
