RockPointe Children's Ministry | RPC Kids Summer Intern Reports to: Children's Minister Start date: May 17, 2026 End Date: Aug 9, 2026 Hours: 20 hours per week, non-exempt, non-clergy RPC Mission: Loving God with all that we are while making more and better followers of Christ RPC 10:50 Vision: To plant and/or support 50 churches by December 2030 RPC Statement of Faith: Check it out here RPC Values People of Programs Authenticity Community Grace First Servant Leadership Collaborative Teamwork Additional Staff Values Trust Work Ethic Innovation Main Function To serve RPC Kids in specific ministry engagement opportunities, also participating in current outreach and discipleship opportunities. Tasks & Responsibilities Tier 1 // Assist 10 hours Assisting with setup and ministry on Sunday mornings (at Central or Parker Square) for RPC Kids Assist with discipling a specific age group consistently (based on need and personal calling) Assist in planning and executing RPC Kids events Assist with RPC Kids events and trips as assigned Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor Tier 2 // Learn 5 hours Attend weekly or biweekly one-on-one with Children's Minister or Children's staff member for development and discipleship Attend weekly fellowship night with RPC student interns Tier 3 // Observe 5 hours Attend RPC Kids meetings Attend all weekly Children's services (while making sure you are attending your own personal service) Expectations Spend time in your personal walk with the Lord daily Remain above reproach in personal and ministry interactions Be a self-starter Maintain a team-centered attitude Accountability The Summer Intern will work in a team atmosphere reporting to the Children's Minister
