Experienced System Administrator

Job Description We are seeking an Experienced System Administrator to join our team and be responsible for the day-to-day management of our virtual infrastructure, storage systems, and Unix servers. Your expertise will ensure that our systems run efficiently and effectively. This role includes a variety of technical tasks such as documenting processes, creating procedures, and collaborating on team projects. You will need to possess strong knowledge in core datacenter technologies, including VMware vSphere, Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM), HPe Storage and Compute hardware, Netapp, Dell PowerMax, and Linux OS support, as well as familiarity with networking, security, and general troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Obtain federal security clearance, which is essential for this role and requires U.S. citizenship. 4+ years of experience in virtualization, storage systems, and Linux installation, troubleshooting, and support. Expertise in virtual infrastructure, specifically VMware and Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM). Experience with storage solutions such as HPe 3Par, Netapp, and Dell PowerMax. Proficiency in automation through scripting with PowerShell, Chef, Ansible, or similar tools. Understanding of datacenter infrastructure monitoring and security standards. Familiarity with the ITIL Service Operations framework. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Salary Range: The salary for this position ranges from $27.07 to $54.13 per hour, totaling $56,300 to $112,600 annually, with potential equity eligibility.
