Job SummaryThe Customer Relations Manager will oversee the Customer Relations Consultants in their day-to-day operations and ensure our potential and current customers' shipping needs are being met.Hours and Wages Exempt salary positionStarting wage: $70,000-92,500 per year, based on relevant years of experience, education, certifications, and comparison to other employees already in this role Duties and Responsibilities Lead and motivate a team of Customer Relations ConsultantsDesign and implement strategic plans to reach goalsKnowledge of rules and regulations regarding tobacco, firearms, alcohol and other freight that may have federal guidelinesIdentify opportunities for overall department cost efficiencies and improvementsConduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for managementParticipate in organizing and leading weekly meetings and communicate goals and assignmentsAttend and participate in trade shows, marketing and sales events, and forumsConduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructiveHire, train, discipline, and onboard new staffFrequent travel is requiredPerform other related duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Excellent management and supervisory skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExtensive knowledge of customer service procedures and principlesPublic speaking skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to coach and mentor othersAbility to solve problems and resolve conflicts while maintaining a professional and calm demeanorProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Education and Experience At least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or other related field preferred5+ years of sales and/or marketing experience preferredHold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards Physical Requirements Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals Benefits Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) Plan, Quarterly Bonuses, and more.
