Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a robust experience in ETL processes and a solid understanding of various data sources. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines that effectively extract, transform, and load data into our data warehouse. As part of the Data Analytics team, your contributions will be pivotal in delivering an exceptional client experience while embodying our values of collaboration and commitment. In this role, you will work alongside a collaborative team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry expertise, assisting clients in navigating complex business challenges from strategy through execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Identify and map source data from various commercial and custom systems. Design, develop, test, and maintain robust ETL pipelines. Effectively extract, transform, and load data from diverse data sources. Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to define clear data requirements. Troubleshoot and debug ETL pipelines to ensure operational efficiency. Stay informed on the latest ETL technologies and best practices. Estimate development tasks, efforts, and dependencies accurately. Develop comprehensive test cases and demonstrate results for assigned tasks. Maintain and present regular status updates to the team. Clearly communicate project details and activities to clients and team members. Adapt swiftly to various industries and learn the client's terminology to translate business requirements into actionable development plans. Represent the firm professionally while engaging with clients. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in ETL development. Hands-on experience with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Financial Audits, or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and compliance requirements. Prior consulting experience or experience working with external clients. Strong understanding of ETL processes and technologies. Experience working with varied data sources, including relational databases, flat files, and web APIs. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java. Familiarity with data warehouse technologies, including Azure, AWS, and Snowflake. Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities. Strong communication and teamwork aptitude. Deep understanding of software development life cycles, with expertise in both Agile and traditional project management methodologies. A technical background with experience in enterprise solutions across different industries. High-level knowledge of BI architecture or data warehousing principles. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Able to manage multiple deliverables, clients, and projects in a fast-paced setting. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities. Preferred Certifications Certifications in BI, ETL tools, visualization tools, or cloud architectures. CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) certifications. The salary range for this role is $104,500.00 - $208,300.00 per year, representing a wide spectrum of factors considered in compensation decisions including experience, skillset, and business needs.
