What You'll Do:The Sonographer is responsible for client medical services including pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and associated documentation. This position reports to the Program Director of Pregnancy and Adoption Patient Care & Preparation: Review patient medical history, explain procedures, answer questions, and position patients comfortably for scanning.Imaging Procedures: Operate ultrasound transducers to capture high-quality images of internal organs, tissues, or blood flow.Diagnostic Analysis: Identify normal vs. abnormal imaging results and provide a summary of findings to physicians.Equipment Maintenance: Clean, sanitize, and perform maintenance on ultrasound equipment to ensure proper functioning.Documentation: Record findings and maintain accurate patient records, adhering to confidentiality protocols.Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care Provides all client services in a professional, compassionate, and nonjudgmental manner based on the individual client's needs and in accordance with CCANO's mission, philosophy, policies. Client services include ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, education on pregnancy-related options and Medicaid applications. Participates in annual training as required, including RDMS certification requirements and Medicaid Application Representative Certification training. Perks!
