Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C / NP) Location: Coos Bay, Oregon 97420 About the Role: Join a highly respected Orthopedic Surgery team at a leading medical center on Oregon's beautiful South Coast! In this hands-on locum opportunity, you'll collaborate closely with the attending physician and play a vital role in patient care - from hospital rounds to assisting in surgery. This position offers exceptional professional growth, exposure to advanced surgical procedures, and a supportive, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Record and review patient histories, develop and implement plans of care Perform diagnostic studies (EMG, EKG, MRI, CT, etc.) Conduct procedures - including wound care, digital blocks, tendon repair, and fracture management First-assist in surgeries (tissue closures, brace/cast applications, etc.) Provide orthopedic call coverage (weekday, weekend, and 24-hour rotation) Participate in daily rounds, documentation, and quality initiatives Requirements: Board Certified - Required Active Oregon License - Required Full-time availability & ASAP start - Required Proficient in EPIC EMR (4-hour unpaid training, testing out available in 2 hours) Schedule & Pay Details: Work Week: Sunday-Saturday Overtime: After 40 hours/week Lodging: Provided and coordinated Call: Shared rotation with other PAs/NPs (includes weekends/holidays) Start Date: ASAP Why You'll Love It Here: Work in a state-of-the-art orthopedic facility with robotic-assisted surgery and advanced imaging.
