Your Responsibilities Will Include: Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations such as FDA protocols and OSHA standards to maintain the highest production quality. Providing excellent customer service to donors and ensuring a positive experience in line with our company values. Keeping your work area clean and well-organized with sufficient supplies to meet production needs. Maintaining and troubleshooting Donor Center equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures and manufacturer guidelines. Monitoring donor conditions to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the donation process. Respecting donor confidentiality according to company policy. Accurately documenting and maintaining records as per company procedures. Responding to equipment alerts and alarms while performing routine quality checks. Cleaning up any blood or plasma spills and properly disposing of biohazardous waste. Completing other assigned tasks as needed. Donor Eligibility Assessment: Verifying donor eligibility according to Standard Operating Procedures. Conducting vital evaluations and performing finger sticks for testing. Registering donor applicants efficiently. Plasma Collection Procedures: Preparing equipment and supplies for plasmapheresis procedures. Safely disconnecting donors after the collection process. Maintaining oversight to ensure donor safety and product quality. Operating automated plasmapheresis machines and responding to any alarms or alerts that may occur. Product Processing Duties: Collecting and storing plasma product and samples following strict cleanliness protocols. Handling products based on test results appropriately. Organizing products and samples in walk-in storage facilities as per guidelines. Preparing products for shipment while adhering to transportation regulations. Monitoring temperatures of storage equipment and reporting malfunctions immediately. Job Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Preferably three months of experience in clerical or customer service roles. Certification or licensing may be required as per state regulations. Basic computer skills and proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) are necessary. Strong organizational and customer service skills are essential. Ability to read and follow regulations and instructions is required. Effective communication skills are a must. Work Schedule: Flexibility to work various hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is needed. Attendance and punctuality are crucial for this role. Physical Demands: Must utilize appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds. Comfort with bending, stooping, and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Able to work in extremely cold environments and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills.
