We are seeking to hire a dynamic and safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver to join our transportation team in the Morganfield, KY, area. LOCALS WANTED!! PART TIME -FULL TIME TEMPT TO HIRE Routes include Union County, Webster County, and Henderson County areas. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, 1 ton flatbed, goosenecks ect. with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight or other equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling of sensitive or heavy cargo. Transport a variety of freight types, including feed, corn, soybeans, herbicides, ext Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and route documentation for compliance purposes. Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules while minimizing delays and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks and various trailer types such as flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks, goosenecks etc. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload operations. Ability to drive long distances safely while maintaining focus on road safety standards. Experience with route driving logistics to ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations. Skilled in operating auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and customers.
