Position Summary The Night Shift II Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work in a safe, efficient, and independent manner during night-shift operations. This role ensures production goals are met while upholding company safety standards, quality expectations, and craftsmanship. This position is a hands-on role that works closely with the production team and must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Perform welding on steel, stainless steel, and/ or aluminum per blueprint specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions accurately. Set up and operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools. Inspect welds to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met. Maintain production pace to meet shift output expectations. Identify and report quality, equipment, or safety concerns immediately. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. Strong measuring skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Night Shift II Information Schedule: for regular full-time employees working the second night shift (Night Shift II), core workday/ hours are from 5 PM to 5 AM Wednesday through Friday evening. Overtime is available but is not mandatory. Training may occur during the day shift. Day shift hours are 5 AM to 3 PM on Monday through Thursday. Night Shift Offerings Shift differential pay hours: for regular full-time employees working night shift, four (4) additional hours per week, at the employee's standard hourly rate, will be allotted to the employees' paycheck if the employee has physically worked 36 or more that week (WORK 36 HOURS, PAID FOR 40). Additionally, employees who regularly work either night shift receive shift differential pay of $2.00 per hour for night shift hours.
