Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Orthopedics Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity:RN - Med Surg Orthopedic Job Details:• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM• Patient ratios approximately 1:5 for days and nights (varies between units, estimated ratios not guaranteed)• Float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS• Must have minimum 2 years strong telemetry experience• Chemo Certification preferred (allows scheduling on Oncology unit)• Care for large cardiac population across 2 Tele floors and PCU• Handle varied medical issues including both acute and chronic conditions• Work with various types of equipment• Use Meditech EMR system• Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float between units• Team player attitude and compassion required• Great learning opportunity to expand clinical skills across multiple specialties Facility:This healthcare organization operates a 345-bed medical center with 3-time Magnet designation, demonstrating excellence in nursing care and patient outcomes.
