The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing ultrasound imaging procedures on patients, ensuring that interpreting Radiologists receive accurate clinical histories based on patient signs and symptoms. Key Responsibilities: Conduct various ultrasound imaging procedures on patients. Collect patient history data and complete worksheets detailing exam findings for Radiologist review. Maintain cleanliness and organization in exam rooms. Support imaging center operations by assisting with general duties, such as preparing discs with images. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's Degree preferred. CPR certification is essential. ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification is required. Must hold a valid state license when applicable. Valid state driver's license is necessary, as applicable. 1-2 years of experience in Ultrasound is required. Willingness to work at various locations. Outstanding customer service skills. Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities. Basic proficiency in computer applications and programs. Local travel may be needed. Candidates may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen is necessary for all new hires. Physical Requirements: This role may expose the employee to outdoor weather conditions while transporting patients, as well as blood/body fluids and infectious diseases. Frequent activities (more than 50% of the time): Sitting, standing, walking. Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs. Visual, auditory, and verbal communication with patients. Occasional activities (less than 50% of the time): Stooping, kneeling, or crawling. Climbing and balancing. Ability to lift and carry non-ambulatory patients from a seated or lying position for transfers or examinations.
