This position is responsible for analyzing equipment to troubleshoot problems and making any necessary repairs with minimal oversight from maintenance supervision. This individual is encouraged to develop daily goals/strategies and ensure all equipment is running effectively and efficiently. Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm Highlights of your role Work efficiently with the work order system (EAM) to document repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the plant. Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment; assist in machine repairs and train others on proper repair techniques and preventive maintenance practices. Set up new equipment; troubleshoot using specialty tools and make decisions on effective repair methods. Interpret blueprints and part drawings to perform maintenance tasks. Apply basic machinist skills using a vertical mill and lathe. Demonstrate understanding of welding and fabrication techniques. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status and submit end-of-shift reports. Promote a culture of safety and integrity by consistently following all safety protocols, reporting hazards, and engaging in training and initiatives. You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a related technical field strongly preferred. Minimum of three years of related maintenance experience and/or technical training required. Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses. Basic welding and fabrication skills; machining experience with mill and lathe preferred.
