About the Role: The Lead Client Relationship Executive (LCRE) plays a pivotal role in managing relationships and financial outcomes for our most complex clients. This includes: Large clients with intricate benefit plans and administration requirements Clients utilizing Absence Management services Clients with complex technological needs such as API and payroll integrations Occasional team leadership responsibilities This position is integral to strategic relationship management and revenue growth, catering to policyholders and brokers while fostering long-term partnerships. The LCRE will actively seek opportunities to enhance revenue through cross-selling initiatives and provide comprehensive education and support to clients. Key Responsibilities: Establish and sustain strong, professional relationships with key client personnel and brokers. Collaborate with Sun Life support and management resources to exceed client expectations. Achieve retention, business growth, and client satisfaction through proactive engagement and feedback. Assess and clarify client needs continuously, communicating effectively with clients and brokers. Work closely with internal service departments to ensure timely resolution of client issues. Participate in presentations that showcase Sun Life's value proposition and service benefits. Collaborate with territory EBR/NAEBR to develop actionable business plans aligned with goals. Support the implementation process alongside the Implementation Consultant. Engage with the Benefit Education team to enhance enrollment and re-enrollment strategies. Communicate proactively through various methods to educate clients on Sun Life offerings. Conduct installation meetings to familiarize BAs with administrative procedures. Stay updated on market trends that may impact clients, advising on relevant Sun Life solutions. Perform regular case reviews to identify areas of concern and recommend additional solutions. Facilitate the renewal process by coordinating with Underwriting and evaluating service experiences. Act as a liaison between agency partners and internal teams, fostering collaborative solutions. Utilize Salesforce to document all relevant client and broker interactions. Willing to travel 20%-30% based on territory needs. What You Need to Thrive: Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills. Proven ability to navigate and resolve conflicts professionally. Excellent planning and organizational skills for managing client needs and business activities. Expertise in presenting and articulating complex information clearly. Solid understanding of the employee benefits industry, with experience in national or strategic account management. Current insurance license or the ability to obtain one immediately. Preferred: Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) designation and college degree. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. The salary range for this role is $101,700 - $152,600, with incentives based on individual and business performance.
