We are seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to join our exceptional team. In this dynamic role, you will not only execute repairs and maintenance on equipment but also lead, mentor, and support a dedicated team of technicians within your assigned territory. Oversee team performance to meet productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals. Coordinate service work, including troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, inspections, and mechanical/electrical repairs. Champion a safety-first culture by following all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures. Assess daily operational needs and allocate resources effectively to meet customer expectations. Collaborate with Field Service Managers to promote best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Organize team meetings and training opportunities for both technical skills and leadership development. Act as a vital communication link between technicians, customers, and internal departments. Troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical issues using hand tools, diagnostic devices, and manufacturer guidelines. Execute complex repairs and system adjustments on forklifts and conveyor systems. Maintain detailed service records and utilize company software for reporting and scheduling. Advise on parts replacements and manage ordering processes as necessary. Implement and promote Toyota's best-in-class service model in day-to-day operations. What You'll Need: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with conveyor experience highly desirable. High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training is a plus. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide team members through challenges. Advanced troubleshooting expertise with material handling equipment, conveyors, and their components. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and mobile service applications. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A strong sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to lift/move up to 150 lbs with assistance. Comfortable working at extended heights using ladders and scissor lifts. Valid driver's license and capacity to pass company certification exams. Willingness to work overtime and be on-call to meet customer requirements. Travel Requirements: This position requires daily travel within assigned territories. Technicians will be provided with a company vehicle and a company Fuel Card to cover vehicle expenses. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/move up to 70 pounds and up to 150 pounds with a team member's assistance. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 10 hours. Clear verbal communication skills and attentive listening capabilities. Visual requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
