Civil Superintendent - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Civil Superintendent for a direct-hire opportunity! Work is project based, current project is Middletown, DE. Candidates will be traveling nationwide as needed. Work is set to start on 02/02/2026. Annual salary is $100,000 - $130,000 + full benefits + per diem. Trillium Construction Services is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on federal construction projects, including work governed by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) standards. This is a direct-hire, long-term opportunity for a superintendent with a strong background in heavy industrial construction and federal safety and quality requirements. The Superintendent will oversee daily jobsite operations from project award through closeout, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with contract requirements. Key Responsibilities -Lead and supervise all day-to-day jobsite construction activities -Plan and execute work using Short Interval Planning (daily and weekly look-ahead schedules) -Track labor hours, crew productivity, material usage, and upcoming material needs -Coordinate field labor, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries -Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and federal contract requirements -Enforce safety requirements in accordance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards -Support Quality Control activities and required documentation -Communicate daily progress, production updates, and issues to the Project Manager -Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors Benefits -Medical, dental, and vision insurance -401(k) retirement plan -Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays -Per diem and travel support when applicable -Ongoing training and professional development -Long-term career growth with stable federal project backlog Apply now! Required Qualifications -5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role -10+ years of total construction experience -Proven experience on federal construction projects (USACE experience strongly preferred) -EM 385-1-1 certification (required) Experience on heavy industrial infrastructure projects, including: -Bridges -Dams -Towers -Tanks Hands-on experience with: -Coatings -Access scaffolding -Structural steel -Concrete work -Strong knowledge of construction means and methods -Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules -Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills -Willingness to travel nationwide and remain onsite for extended project durations Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
