Polysomnographic Technologist

Description This posting is for multiple openings for a Polysomnographic Technologist at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. We are excited to offer FULL TIME / NIGHT Shift positions. In this role, you will operate advanced medical equipment to conduct detailed polysomnographic testing under the guidance of the Manager. You will explain procedures to patients, prepare them for testing, and apply necessary recording devices. Key responsibilities include monitoring recordings and audio/visual equipment to ensure patient safety and quality of test data, while also tracking sleep/wake patterns and other physiological events. Required Qualifications: California Polysom Technologist License upon hire. National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or National Certified Polysomnographic Technician upon hire. National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. 1 year of experience as a polysomnographic technologist; 2 years preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Polysomnography. Membership in Association of Polysomnographic Technologist (APT) or American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) upon hire.
