Job Description Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates with strong mechanical skills for assembler 2 positions at a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. These are temp-to-hire positions. The first shift is 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $20.25 an hour. The second shift is 3:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $22.25 an hour. Job Responsibilities: Accurately pick necessary parts for production orders Assemble, check and package sub-components and finished products according to instruction and production order in a quality and schedule-minded fashion Execute special tasks within the assembly process Mount items necessary for fulfilling the assembly orders of sub-components and finished products Maintain order at the workplace Temporary assignments as floater in different assembly teams Perform computer and administrative work such as order printing, label creation, order confirmation and tracking Coordinate transport arrangements with shipping Prioritize and arrange production papers and pick list based on commitment level to customers Job Requirements: Assembly and/or manufacturing experience Strong mechanical skills Experience using hands tools, such as combination wrenches Able to work from schematics Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Forward thinking with good time management skills Able to operate manufacturing equipment and electronic test equipment Excellent communication skills Able to work overtime as needed Able to pass pre-employment screenings Additional Information Please select "Apply Online" to submit your application for this position.
